On 9 November, Remembrance Sunday in the United Kingdom and in the Church of England, the Chaplain-President was invited to preach at Choral Evensong in Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge. This was an occasion to share with Fellows and students in Cambridge some Belgian and Rwandan perspectives on modern war, on its casualties and its survivors, especially those attached to the Anglican parishes in Belgium, and to pray for a genuine and just peace in the multiple armed conflicts which currently ravage and terrorise hundreds of millions of people across the world.
