On 21 July, the Chaplain-President had the pleasure of representing the Anglicans of Belgium at the ceremonies connected to Belgium's National Day; first at the Te Deum in the presence of the King and Queen in the Catholic cathedral in Brussels, then at the lunch held by Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot at the Palais d'Egmont, where Jack had the opportunity to talk with Ambassador Léopold Bonkoungou of Burkina Faso, Ambassador Thérence Ntahiraja of Burundi and the Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Togo.
